Salon Dog

Sterling:

Our space was lucky enough to have the best concierge for almost 5 years. Sterling, a morkie (Maltese- Yorkshire Terrier mix), greeted each of our guests and visitors. He brought a lot of joy to the space and to each appointment, specializing in keeping the salon chair warm while guests were shampooed. Occasionally he would sit in guests’ lap when needed. Sterling was even featured on the Davines Instagram for the launch of View hair color. Sadly, he passed away November of 2024 at the age of 10. Being such an huge part of our culture and space, we knew we could never replace him and each day we miss him. He is forever a part of us and severely missed..

EDISON:

In our grief and sadness we met Edison, another morkie. He was determined to help our team and guests through the pain and loss. At just 4 month old, Edison began his work to help bring back joy and is has been titled our guest experience specialist. Edison doesn’t just greet guests, he often plays with guests in the waiting area (toy bin is between the couches) to keep them entertained and offers comfort by being held and sitting in laps, particularly while guests are blow dried (unless too sleepy.) He’s currently in AKC training and is about to pass his certification as a Therapy Dog.
